Five years ago, three of us were sharing our frustrations born out of seeking customer support. We realized, that all of us were citing different companies, but were left with the same agony – long wait lines, no resolution, the helplessness, and the pain of giving a company your money, but not receiving good customer service. We wanted to change that, not for one company, but for all companies across the globe, large or small.
Our motivation was further fueled by seeing the growth of social media and conversational channels like websites, apps, IoT devices, and realizing that enterprises are still holding on to asynchronous legacy systems like emails and tickets to resolve queries. And so we established yellow.ai, a Total CX Automation Platform, to connect with customers and resolve their queries, automatically, across 35+ channels on text and voice. Early in our journey, we were elated to see a product-market fit with large enterprises like Bajaj, Schlumberger, Alstom, trust our startup to solve their CX Challenges.
Today, we’re humbled to see over 1000 companies, across 50+ countries, share our vision and adorn an automation-first approach to enhance Customer Experience and even Employee Experience. Today I’m excited to share that we’ve raised a $78.15M Series C financing to help scale our platform, team, and expansion. Since our last funding round in April 2020, we’ve grown our revenue by 470% and added hundreds of new clients, across the globe. We’ve also expanded geographically and today we have our teams spread across the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, UAE, and India. At the back of this growth and expansion, our Series C was led by Sapphire Ventures along withWestBridge Capital , and joined by Salesforce Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
